Made of grapes from a 45-year-old vineyard, the wine was fermented in wood. That has produced a wine that is balanced by rich spiciness and juicy apple and citrus acidity. There is a fine tension here, with the wine showing delicious freshness as well as aging potential. Drink now or from 2021.
